In this episode Besenwagen picks up Katarzyna Niewiadoma. The polish pro cyclist is one of the best female athletes on the road. Although she has won several GCs in her career already, she is most famous for punishing her opponents with an aggressive racing style of furious attacks in one day races. A win both at the Amstel Gold Race and the Trofeo Alfredo Binda, three 2nd places at the Strade Bianche (about time to win it, Kasia!) and a bronze medal at the '21 World Championships are just the tip of the iceberg. Those and many more top results make the CANYON//SRAM Racing captain the current number 7 in the UCI World Rankings.21. February 2022
In this episode Besenwagen picks up Annika Langvad. She is a five-time MTB World Champion and has won the Cape Epic a total of five times during her career. Racing in multiple disciplines, she racked up nineteen national championships. She had a shot in the Women's WorldTour in 2019, where she rocketed to podium finishes at Strade Bianche and Flèche Wallone plus a 4th place at the Amstel Gold Race. After retiring late 2020, she became a full-time dentist, a job she was studying for all while being one of the most successful athletes of the sport.31. January 2022
In this episode Besenwagen picks up Mads Pedersen. At just 26 years of age, Mads has already won the World Championships, Gent-Wevelgem and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne. On top of that he was runner up in the Tour of Flanders and won his home race, the Tour of Denmark.10. January 2022
In this episode Besenwagen picks up Ashton Lambie. The current world champion in the individual pursuit was the first cyclist ever to do the 4000m on the track in less than 4 minutes. Contrary to this very short and high intensive discipline, Ashton comes originally from gravel racing and ultra distance riding.23. December 2021
